Carrie & Jeremy: Engagement Session

meet ms. Carrie and Jeremy, they are a couple who will be getting married this September in Tacoma. Our trip to Point Defiance Park was tons of fun and interesting all at the same time... I had a wonderful helper Alyssa who is Jeremy's daughter and carries soon to be step daughter and she was a great assitance for the shoot.... Alright so down to the water we go....

Jeremy found a rope that he decided to try out his ninja skills on carrie well I guess he was successful she was laughing so hard.....





If you have followed my blog in the past then you know I always like to spice up the photo session and what better then climbing a tree and it always brings back memories for everyone when they used to climb trees as children you are never to old to have a little fun!






When you are around these two you can feel the love they share for each other. Jeremy and carrie met while carrie was in high school over eight years ago....



Jeremy has such an outgoing personality and is always making everyone around him laugh... he wasn't having the simple portraits..... so he decided to spice things up a bit!.....





oh I can't wait to see the fun times that we will share on their wedding day...... so after we were done with the session we seem to have one little problem... Jeremy gave his keys to Alyssa to hold onto while we were doing the shoot and when it was time to give daddy the keys...... well they seem to have been missing.... since we all took one car we were stuck until we could locate the keys... so the search began! well after a good 20 minutes and the tide was coming in and we were loosing daylight.... Jeremy saw something washing out to sea..... it was his keys! thankful everything worked out and well it was a lesson learned.





Thank you carrie, jeremy and alyssa for a fun day together. the love you two share is real and i can't wait to see everyone on the wedding day!

Carrie & Jeremy:: Save the date Postcards!

Jeremy and Carrie will be tieing the knot this September and in preparation for the wedding Carrie expressed her desire to order some save the date cards to send out to their guests to give a little heads up notice! since their reception will be at Tacoma's Yaut Club we thought it would be great to head down to Point Defiance Park in Tacoma since Owen's Beach would make a perfect background... here is how the Save the date postcards turned out made by yours truly! Just a little self promotion.. Stay tune for the engagement session... there was truly some crazy times since it was on Friday the 13th!

Quincy: Dog Session!

Quincy is such a loveable dog and is always happy to see everyone! She lives in Tacoma with her buddy Jackson. While Michelle ( Quincy's owner) and I were in Salem, Oregon we found a park and took some portraits of Quincy. The last dog session I did was with Piper and Mable who are neighbors to Quincy. Michelle feels that if people can take their kids places why not be allowed to take Quincy! Truly Quincy is Michelle's baby and enjoys spending time at the park everyday with Jackson and Michelle! I was explaining to Michelle coffee table books that I'm working on and yes Michelle is ordering a coffee table book of Quincy that should explain the love Michelle has for her baby Quincy!

Soon Quincy and Michelle will be moving to Wenatchee together.

I want to wish Michelle and Quincy the best of luck in Wenatchee. Michelle will be starting a new job and she doesn't have any family in the area she is just adventourous! I'm sure there will be more fun portrait sessions together in the future!

Alyssa & Dylan: Children Portraits

Today I had the opportunity to meet Alyssa & Dylan we went to a local school and we were able to get some great images of Alyssa & Dylan playing hard on the playground. After a bit of play we headed back to my house to capture some great buddy photos outside! It was a beautiful sunny day outside! As you may know those days are sometimes far and few in Washington! It's crazy to think just a few days ago we had snow in our area.....

I just love this picture! You can see Alyssa was truly having a blast!

Today was the first day that I had the privileged to meet Alyssa and you can just feel how close Alyssa & her step Mom Carrie are. I know that Alyssa will remember all the special memories that she has had and will continue to make with Carrie. I'm honored to of been asked to be able to capture Carrie & her fiance' Jeremy's wedding! For me to be able to stand back and watch the emotions throughout the day will truly be a blessing.
