Piper & Mable: Dog Session

It is so funny how these dogs let their personalities shine through these images. Piper you might remember is younger and has more energy than Mable. Mable is willing to sit and wait for piper to stop running circles around her! When we were letting the dogs play and just get some of their energy out Piper believed that it was her duty to stop every person who walked by us and smell them! This session started showing me that even dogs can express their feelings through photography.

Piper was loving the camera after she learne that Mable was getting attention while just sitting there.

She wanted to make sure we captured her "good" side.

I just love these dog paws!

Piper & Mable Teaser: Dog session

To many people their dogs are like their children Piper & Mable are no exception to this saying! Yesterday I met up with a good friend Carrie Brown who wanted pictures of her two basset hounds together. Carrie and Jeremy added Pipper to the family when she was a pup and they recently added Mable to the mix. Mable was rescued and is now 4 years old while Pipper is still a puppy at just over a year old! So we loaded up the dogs and headed out....

Benjamin Byrd: 3 month session

Benjamin Byrd is the happiest baby and was a blast to photograph. I can't believe how fast they grow and it is funny to see some of the faces the little babies make while you stand in front of them with a huge camera! Benjamin doesn't seem to mind while he thinks it's funny to make sure he laughs at you while you are changing the angle your shooting from. This session was a ton of fun while a little sad. The Byrd family will be moving in the next few months to Kentucky since this is where Benjamin's father Chris is from. Explains the University of Kentucky gear!. The Byrd family has been living in Puyallup since Chris has been serving in the Army while being stationed at Fort Lewis. We want to wish the Byrd family good luck on your new adventures in life and we will be sad to see you go, but we know we will be visiting the Byrd family at least every 3 months! Benjamin needs to have his photos taken! Not only will we be missing our great friends and Tyler's play date buddy, but I failed to mention that Katy does a wonderful job as a hair stylist! To order portraits of Benjamin click here!

Benjamin is just a natural model and I think these next few images are great examples!

This lion that was a huge hit during the photo session, Benjamin received it from his Grandma for Christmas!

One of my favorite images!

Just wait til he gets older and is on his Harley!

I love Benjamin's BIG blue eyes! Thanks so much again Katy and Chris for thinking of me to capture the special images of Benjamin. Good Luck on your new adventures in life and remember you always have a home here!

Benjamin Byrd: 3 month session teaser!

I had the wonderful pleasure of spending the evening with Katy, Chris and Benjamin Byrd! It has been a blast to be able to watch Benjamin grow and develop his own personality. Here are just a few images from tonight and we will be finishing the session tomorrow night! Can't wait to finish the rest.

Chris wasn't too happy to see his son wearing a seahawks outfit but Benjamin didn't seem to mind!

The lion Benjamin recieved as a Christmas gift from his Grandma! I loved it! Katy had some wonderful ideas!
