Bonnie & Chris: Wedding

So now for the moment we have all been waiting for...The wedding Vows. There are some many different versions of wedding vows and it's always interesting to see which vows the couple have choosen to exchange to one another. Bonnie & Chris decided to write their own vows and there is nothing better than to see the raw emotion that always comes to the surface as soon as the Bride and Groom speak the words that will tie them together forever..

Now the ceremony was over and it's time to Party! It's a huge relief for everyone involved in the wedding as soon as the ceremony has concluded you just see this different side that comes out of everyone and they are always ready to have a good time!

Thank you all so much for a great time! It was a blast getting to know each of you and thank you for choosing me to be the one to capture your special day!

Sunday, August 16, 2009: Sam & Monique: Wedding Teaser : Fremont, WA.

So after I photograph a wedding the Brides and Groom are always excited to see some of the images! I have decided to start doing a little teasers to try and hold over the Bride & Groom not to mention the wedding party until I get all the images edited! So on Sunday, August 16 I captured the amazing wedding of Sam & Monique in Fremont, WA. The couple was a blast and knew how to have fun! We even did a session with the Fremont, Troll ..... stay tune for those images later.

August 14, 2009: Wedding Teaser: Portland, Oregon Temple

Today was the first time I had ever photographed 2 weddings in the same day not to mention my first time traveling out of state for a wedding!!! hahah it's only to Oregon but still it's out of state!! After I drove over 3 hours to get to The Portland Temple to do a DOUBLE wedding it was so much fun and crazy all at the same time! haha Here are just a few images to tease the couples a little bit! Then tomorrow I attend their receptions and then its time to head North to fremont on Sunday! Stay tune for more images! The next post will be finishing up the Bonnie and Chri's wedding!

So I know it was short but hey it's called a teaser for a good reason! With in the next couple of weeks we will revisit these two couples on the blog!

Bonnie & Chris: Wedding: Details

It is always fun to see the different ideas that bride and grooms come up with for their wedding... I feel it is important as one of my jobs to capture all the little details that I know took some time planning.

Alright so this one was just too darn cute I had to sneak it in! Look at those little shoes....

I thought it was really neat how the center pieces were individual cakes! When I told Bonnie that I really liked the idea she completely gave credit to Chris for coming up with the idea! Way to go Chris!

You can just see how much detail and time there was on each cake. I have always been impressed with the individuals who are artistic enough to come up with so many different cake designs! That's true art at it's finest!

Bonnie & Chris: Wedding: Getting Ready Finale!

Now that everyone had their hair and makeup done it was time for Bonnie to finally slip into her dress. This is always fun to watch the reaction of the bride and all the girls to finally be able to see what dress she choose for her special day. I feel that picking out the wedding dress is one of the most stressful but also the most exciting part of the wedding planning.

Now that Bonnie was ready to head out the door you can see the anticipation in her face as she realizes today is finally the big day. For many brides with all the stress of planning it sometimes doesn't seem like the wedding day, as they are so busy with many details, but as soon as you slip into that amazing dress it seems to all come together! Tomorrow we finally get to see the images of Bonnie & Chris together!

Bonnie & Chris: Wedding: Getting Ready!

Today we continue on with more images of Bonnie getting ready for her wedding. I try to always tell a story with the images I take and I feel these next ones really go into detail of all the small things that everyone does the day of a wedding to make it all come together... Thank goodness for family! Where would any of us be without them!!

It was time for Anthony to get some rest before the big day! Hope who is Bonnie's sister was the Creator of this masterpiece! hey it worked like a charm! Oh the power of signs! hahaha

It's always stressful the morning of the wedding but it was a different story being around Bonnie, her family and close friends. It was relaxed and a funny moment that I remember is I was asking what time it was since we had about 45 min. to get to the wedding location to start the couples session... more of those to come later!... and Bonnie was walking around like Oh yeah I better start getting dressed now uh! It totally made me laugh and it truly shows the type of personality Bonnie has! She had a smile on her face from the time I showed up at 9am until the very end of the day!

After I posted the first few images of the Bonnie & Chris wedding I received an email from Bonnie and it brought a smile to my face and so I replied asking Bonnie if I could share it on the blog and she was more that willing to let me post it so here it goes........

Thank you for working so hard for us!!!! I checked out the pictures and they are so amazing!! I can’t wait to see more. You made me feel so at ease and once again it was a joy to work with you!! And thank you again for all your help at my sisters. You went above and beyond there. Thank you thank you thank you! I had a blast!
Maybe some time our sons can get together for a play date when you have a free moment that would be a lot of fun.
